Women’s empowerment has now become a reality, and no one can deny the fact that in modern, AI-driven societies, without the equal participation of women, economic and social development remains stagnant.

Miss Mexico Fatima Bosch is now being applauded on social media platforms for standing up and speaking out not only for herself but also for all the other participants, as they had to face the disrespect and derogatory behavior of Miss Universe organizer Nawat Itsaragrisil at the 74th Miss Universe 2025.

There are 122 contestants taking part to clinch the crown and the title of 74th Miss Universe 2025, being held in Bangkok, Thailand, that runs from November 2 to 21, 2025.

Here’s a rundown of Fatima Bosch, the beauty queen of Miss Mexico:

Who is Fatima Bosch?

Fatima Bosch was born in Mexico, she has always been into modelling since a young age and is a staunch supporter of social advocacy.

For the unversed, Bosch became the first-ever queen from the Mexican state of Tabasco to win Miss Universe Mexico in September 2025.

She studied fashion design at Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico.

She has gained more than 990,000 followers on Instagram and more than 690,000 on TikTok since winning the prestigious title.

Bosch has discussed facing bullying in school for having dyslexia and Adult Hyperactivity Disorder.

According to the Mayo Clinic, dyslexia is a “learning disorder that involves difficulty reading due to problems identifying speech sounds,” while ADHD is a mental health disorder that can lead to “difficulty paying attention, hyperactivity, and impulsive behavior.”

When Bosch walked out of the sash ceremony, she spoke to the media near tears, but her words since then have once again resonated with the ordinary women who face hardship in life.

She said, "He called me dumb because he has issues with my organization, and I think that’s unfair.”

Bosch explained further, “I think the world needs to see this, because we are empowered women, and this platform is for our voices. No one can silence it. No one will silence me.”

In that moment, her tears did not show weakness but proved why her voice is so necessary: it speaks for every woman who has ever been told to be quiet.
