Erika Kirk, 36, CEO of Turning Point USA (TPUSA), has been awarded the Charlie Kirk Legacy Award at a ceremony of Fox Nation Patriot Awards, hosted by American broadcaster Fox News on Thursday, November 6, 2025.
Erika Kirk, widow of 31-year-old conservative Charlie Kirk, brings the house down when she was called on stage.
The Patriot Award honors those individuals who “embody Kirk’s enduring mission of faith, family, and free speech.”
It will be an annual feature to pay tribute to the slain conservative activist, who was assassinated on September 10, 2025, at the Utah Valley University campus.
Erika delivered a tearful speech at The Tilles Center, Brookville, New York, acknowledging the audience and public for their strong support of the cause of her late husband, Charlie Kirk.
She said, “Thank you to everyone who loved my husband so well.”
Showing her resolve to continue her husband's mission, no matter the difficulty, Erika continued, “He knew that evil wins when good people stay silent. And so for the rest of my life, I will make sure that I don’t stay silent. I’ll keep speaking the truth no matter the cost.”
The award was presented by superstar Jason Aldean, his wife Brittany, and Fox News anchor Jesse Watters.
After the assassination of Charlie Kirk, Erika Kirk was elected as the CEO of Turning Point USA (TPUSA) to lead the cause of her late husband.
Erika, in September this year, stunned everyone at her husband’s funeral when she announced she forgave the man who killed her husband, Charlie Kirk.
“I forgive him because it was what Christ did. And what Charlie would do,” she said.
Tayler Robinson, 22, the main suspect in the murder of Charlie Kirk, has been charged with aggravated murder and various other charges.
