Andrew finally gets dreaded letter from US: 'We request that you cooperate'
The letter was addressed to Andrew's former residence of Royal Lodge

Andrew’s worst nightmare over his Jeffrey Epstein connections have come true.

Members of the US Congress have written to Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, demanding an interview about his “long-standing friendship” with the late convicted paedophile and trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, according to a letter shared by Hello! Magazine.

California congressman Robert Garcia, a top Democrat on the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, is among 16 members requesting the sit-down. The letter, addressed to Andrew’s former residence at Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park, comes just days after he was stripped of his royal titles and ordered to vacate the property.

The committee confirmed it is investigating Epstein’s “sex trafficking operations,” telling Andrew, “The committee is seeking to uncover the identities of Mr Epstein’s co-conspirators and enablers, and to understand the full extent of his criminal operations.”

Lawmakers cited “well-documented allegations” against Andrew and noted that his “long-standing friendship with Mr Epstein” suggests he may “possess knowledge of his activities relevant to our investigation.” They urged him to cooperate by “sitting for a transcribed interview” and requested a response by November 20.

The letter also referenced a 2011 email exchange in which Andrew reportedly told Epstein, “We are in this together,” a statement the committee says “further confirms our suspicion that you may have valuable information about the crimes committed by Mr Epstein and his co-conspirators.”

It also mentioned Virginia Giuffre’s allegations that Andrew abused her when she was 17, claims he has consistently denied.

“In the interest of justice for the victims of Jeffrey Epstein, we request that you cooperate with the Committee’s investigation by sitting for a transcribed interview,” the letter reads.
