Meghan Markle angers Prince William's fans with latest announcement

Meghan Markle turned a deaf ear to her critics, focusing on her goals and moving forward with grace and determination to reach her destination.

However, some of her actions truly spark reactions due to their intensity and connection to the royals. The former Suits star has been accused of trying to overshadow Prince William on his big day with a major announcement about her career and future.

Royal fans believe that Meghan's stunt was intentionally planned at the same time at William's massive Brazil moment, overshadowing the future King.

One social media user wrote on X (formerly Twitter): "Couldn’t this wait until Wills has left Rio."

Another agreed: 'And she announces it conveniently whilst William is at Earth Shot.'

On the other hand, William traveled from Rio de Janeiro to the Amazon city of Belem where world leaders gathered for the climate meeting. He also addressed at the COP30 UN climate conference on November 6, 2025.

Meghan's announcement might also be a surprise to her husband Prince Harry, who's currently in Canada.

The Duke of Sussex is the global ambassador of Scotty's Little Soldiers and used his annual letter to remind the youngsters that they are not alone and that he was standing beside them.

He sent an emotional letter to bereaved military children ahead of Remembrance Sunday.

Harry, in his heartfelt messgae, said, 'As Remembrance approaches, I wanted to write and let you know how incredibly proud we all are of you.'

He added: 'This time of year can bring a lot of emotions – pride, love, and sometimes sadness – as you remember your parent or loved one who served our country.'
