Carly Rae Jepsen announces pregnancy one month after wedding to Cole MGN

Carly Rae Jepsen is pregnant with her first child!

Just one month after tying the knot with music producer Cole M.G.N, the Call Me Maybe hitmaker revealed on Instagram that they’re expecting their first child. Taking to her Instagram on November 3, she shared a set of black-and-white photos that showed off her growing baby bump beside her new husband., whose full name is Cole Marsden Greif-Neill.

“Oh hi baby,” the 39-year-old singer wrote in the caption along with a heart emoji, while Cole. 40, sweetly replied with three heart-eyed emojis.

The pregnancy announcement comes just weeks after the pair tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at New York’s iconic Chelsea Hotel on October 4. According to Vogue, around 100 guests attended the wedding, which took place in the hotel’s Bard Room.

Jepsen and Cole’s love story began through their shared passion for music. The Canadian singer told People magazine last year that they met while collaborating on her 2023 album The Loveliest Time.

“You have to get to a certain level of comfort with somebody before you can get to those really playful, joyful, experimental places,” she said, describing how their creative chemistry soon turned romantic.

Their engagement followed in September 2024, when Jepsen shared photos of the couple enjoying nature together and flashing her dark-gemstone ring, writing, “Very engaged over here.”

Over the years, Jepsen has often gushed about her now-husband online, referring to him as her “real life shy boy” in reference to her 2023 song, and thanking him for filling her life with “constant support.” 

Now, the couple is embarking on their next chapter together as parents.
