Key royal's shocking decision takes toll on King Charles well-being

King Charles, who is leading the royal family despite his health woes, has been facing immense pressure for more serious action towards the 'disgraced' Prince Andrew. 

It has been said that the late Queen's soft spot for her alleged favourite child, Andrew, now made things quite difficult for the monarch. 

Royal commentator Roya Nikkhah discussed the current scenario, stating that the King has been paying the price for Queen Elizabeth's lenience towards Beatrice and Eugenie's father in the past.

For the unversed, following Andrew's disastrous Newsnight interview in 2019, the Queen asked him to step back from his active working royal role.

In 2022, he settled his legal case, which was filed by his sex accuser, Virginia Giuffre. Andrew's HRH styling, military titles and patronages were forcefully taken back. 

But, still, the Queen let him use his, the Duke of York's titles and other honours. 

The royal expert penned in the Sunday Times, "He (Andrew) remained her weak spot, and Charles is now paying the price."

She added, "While the King, with support from the Prince of Wales, leant heavily on Andrew last week to voluntarily relinquish his titles and honours, the Duke of Hazard has still not fully bowed to pressure from the monarch."

"The King has made it clear for more than a year that he wants him out of Royal Lodge," Roya claimed. 

The latest scandal is said to be taking a toll on King Charles' health as he is undergoing cancer treatment.
