Sabrina Carpenter carries a part of her friend Taylor Swift everywhere she goes, even during her own Short n’ Sweet tour.
The 26-year-old pop superstar showed love to The Fate of Ophelia hitmaker by adding one of her new songs to her tour playlists.
As the Manchild hitmaker kicked off the North American leg of her tour, she surprised fans by playing Swift’s new song, Opalite, from The Life of a Showgirl album.
Several fans took to X and gushed about the wholesome moment between Swifties and Carpenter’s fans as they sang the song along.
Commenting on the video, one fan wrote, “tay-daughter we love it!,” while another added, “Give her a stadium show already.”
Some social media sleuths speculated about whether the Espresso songstress is hinting at the next single to be released from Swift’s 12th album, after Ophelia.
A fan wrote, “second single confirmed,” and many agreed, saying, “Everybody is singing opalite and Sabrina Carpenter's concert oh that definitely needs to be the next single and I love the support that they have for one another is amazing Sabrina we love you,” and “even she’s pushing the opalite single agenda.”
