Emma Stone believes one former co-star is not from Earth
Emma Stone jokes about which actor could be an extra-terrestrial being
Emma Stone playfully admitted one of her co-stars might not be from this planet.
In reference to her new film Bugonia, which follows story of nigh-profile character getting kidnapped by two men who suspect her to be alien, the Oscar-winning actress revealed who she thinks is from space.
During her appearance at The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the Poor Things star without hesitation said, "Willem Dafoe. Hundred percent."
Her quick response did not go unnoticed as Colbert replied, "You did not have to think about that very long." To which Stone fired back, "It’s so simple. I mean, don’t you, of course."
The La La Land star went on to praise the Nosferatu actor, saying, "If it was like, Willem Dafoe’s actually an alien everyone would be like, 'Yeah! Obviously. And a great one!'"
She continued, "Like, if they’re all like Willem, bring ‘em on! Land upon Earth, please!"
The host also got on-board with the idea, saying, "He's an alien in a very well-fitted man suit." As Stone agreed, "My favourite alien."
Emma Stone and Willem Dafoe on-screen collaborations
Stone and Dafoe has previously worked in two Yorgos Lanthimos-directed films, 2023's Poor Things, for Stone won an Oscar, and 2024's Kinds of Kindness.
Although, they were not in the same films but the two also share connection with Spider-Man. Stone starred as Gwen Stacey in Andrew Garfield’s Amazing Spider-Man.
Meanwhile, Dafoe starred as Green Goblin in 2002’s Tobey Maguire-led films.
