Louis Tomlinson unleashes fury on ‘horrible’ celebrity
One Direction star slams 'new media' and one public figure that he will despise forever
Louis Tomlinson has named and shamed a "horrible" celebrity over past remarks about One Direction.
In a recent interview in the wake of his new album How Did I Get Here?, the former band member revealed he will "forever despise" YouTuber Logan Paul, referencing the interview he conducted with Liam Payne.
The 33-year-old singer broke his silence after the influencer-turned-professional wrestler made controversial comments about the former's bandmates a couple of years ago.
"I f--king forever despise [Logan Paul], horrible, horrible little f--ker," Louis didn't hold back when discussing the Prime drink co-founder.
"I think that's also the problem with some of this new 'media,'" he told Independent "I would like to think most journalists… some journalists have a duty of care."
In a June 2022 interview with Logan, Liam claimed that one of his One Direction bandmates once slammed him against a wall.
He also referred to Zayn Malik as a "d--k," saying there were "many reasons why I dislike Zayn," and alluded to the singer’s altercation with Yolanda Hadid the previous year.
The late singer went on to say that he and Louis "hated each other" during their time in the band and even suggested that One Direction was built around him.
While Louis agreed with part of Liam’s statement, saying, "It was definitely a role that was assigned to him. That is the truth," he also admitted that the interview was "hard for me to watch back."
At that time, Liam’s remarks quickly sparked backlash online, with fans slamming him on Twitter and blocking him across social media.
The reaction led the Teardrops singer to issue a public apology, admitting he had a "chip on [his] shoulder" and had "taken it out on everyone else."
