The 26-year-old pop superstar looked back to her roots as she acted in several sketches during her appearance at Saturday Night Live.
The Espresso hitmaker took up double duty as the host and musical guest at the late-night comedy show on October 18, and impressed fans with her acting skills once again.
Following the special episode, which marked her first time as a host and second as a musical guest, Carpenter took to Instagram and shared a series of pictures from the eventful day.
Alongside the carousel, the Please Please Please songstress wrote in the caption, “SNL double duty was the least I’ve slept in my life and the best reason to ever not sleep. thank you Lorne, the amazing cast, crew, and writers for taking me in with open arms @nbcsnl.”
The Grammy winner’s fans flocked to the comments and appreciated her performance, with several gushing about her acting in the sketches.

A third chimed in, “the best snl execution by any pop star ever,” and “You absolutely slayed it. SO MANY SKITS!!”
While one was stunned by her busy schedule, and wrote, “Girl, I don’t know how you do it.
