Howard Stern gets honest about ongoing beef with Oprah Winfrey
Oprah Winfrey slammed by Howard Stern over flaunting her wealth
Howard Stern has recently set the record straight on apparent feud with Oprah Winfrey.
The American media personality was asked about Oprah after he previously slammed her for showing off her wealth during an interview with Andy Cohen on SiriusXM, Andy Cohen Live.
To which, Howard replied, “No, I love Oprah.”
“I follow Oprah. I enjoy watching Oprah,” remarked the 71-year-old.
Howard opened up that the media mogul seems to be “unaware of the way she shows her wealth”.
“I'm not saying she's wrong. We all know she's wealthy. But in the world right now, there is such a disparity between those who have and those who have not, and only getting worse,” explained the radio host.
Elsewhere in the interview, Howard shared that he never met Oprah but he knows their mutual friend Gayle King.
“I think at one point Gayle suggested, ‘Oh, we should get together with Oprah.’ I said, ‘You better check with Oprah. You better. Don't surprise her with me.’” mentioned the radio host.
However, Howard still finds it “funny” to see how Oprah “is unapologetically wealthy”.
“Good for her! I don't hate Oprah at all. I think she's brilliant,” he told Andy.
For those unversed, Howard slammed Oprah on his show back in 2022, claiming she shows off her wealth on Instagram.
“You gotta be a little self-aware and know that there are people struggling out there,” he stated at the time, per Business Insider.
