Meghan Markle steals a moment with Anna Wintour at Balenciaga
Meghan sits among fashion and Hollywood elite
Meghan Markle made a striking return to Europe at the Balenciaga runway show, drawing gasps from the audience as she arrived with her security team.
Inside the venue, Meghan was seen greeting Anna Wintour and Baz Luhrmann, while longtime friend Marcus Anderson joined her and they took seats alongside Insecure star Tracee Ellis Ross.
Also in attendance were Anne Hathaway, Bridgerton’s Simone Ashley, musician FKA Twigs, and model Rosie Huntington-Whitley, making for a star-studded front row.
This marks her first visit to Europe since attending Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in 2022 alongside Prince Harry, and she has not returned to the UK since.
After the show, the Duchess posed for photos with Balenciaga’s new creative director, Pierpaolo Piccioli, before mingling with fashion and Hollywood royalty.
The Duchess of Sussex teased her arrival in the French capital via Instagram, sharing a story overlaid with the French track Viens on essaie by Vitaa and Julien Doré.
A spokesperson for Meghan told HELLO! that she attended the show “in support of Pierpaolo Piccioli, who recently assumed the role of Creative Director for the House.”
She was in a show stopping outfit featuring crisp white wide-leg pants paired with a chic shirt.
