Kylie Kelce opens up about tragic incident on husband Jason’s birthday

Kylie Kelce visited a painful memory during her recent podcast episode as she told fans about a tragedy she underwent with her husband, Jason Kelce.

The 33-year-old former athlete recalled how one of her most exciting times turned into grief when she learned about losing her child.

The Not Gonna Lie host discussed her first miscarriage on her latest podcast episode, sharing how she learned about it on Jason’s birthday.

Kylie revealed that she and the former Philadelphia Eagles player, 37, were “trying to have a famil,y” and they received the good news in August 2018.

The retired hockey coach explained that she had been “very guarded about telling people outside of my immediate circle” because she knew of the “rate at which people lose pregnancies.”

Kylie shared how they planned to tell Jason’s parents, saying, “By the time we went to London, I was supposed to be 12 weeks. We made it a point to surprise Jason’s mom [Donna Kelce] and dad [Ed Kelce] when we were there by pretending to take a photo and telling them that we were expecting.”

She moved to tears recalling how they surprised their parents and her brother-in-law, Travis Kelce, when they returned home.

On Jason’s birthday and her final appointment, she learnt the heartbreaking news of the big loss they had had.

“It was a s–tty day because it was Jason’s birthday. I called my mom and told her that I couldn’t tell Jason because it was his birthday, which seems very silly,” she explained.

“It seems very silly because obviously I’m going to tell my husband what happened. And I did. And it was hard for both of us.” However, the couple got through the tragic time, and are now parents to Wyatt, 6, Elliotte, 4, Bennett, 2, and Finnley, 6 months.
