Kate Middleton suspects Meghan Markle to be poisoning close friend

Princess Kate is “deeply unsettled” after hearing that Meghan Markle has set her sights on Natasha Archer, the Princess’ former aide and trusted confidante, to help boost her lifestyle empire.

Natasha Archer stepped down in July after 15 years as Catherine’s right hand woman, an era that earned her the nickname behind The Kate Middleton Effect. 

Now, fresh reports suggest Meghan is eyeing Archer to bolster her As Ever lifestyle brand. A palace insider told RadarOnline that the news has left Catherine shaken.

“For Kate this isn’t just about work, it’s personal,” the source said. 

“The thought of Meghan moving in on someone so central to her life feels like the deepest betrayal. She’s genuinely afraid Natasha could be tempted away, used against her, or even spill secrets to Meghan.”

The rivalry between the Duchesses shows no sign of cooling. Another insider has claimed that Meghan Markle has long envied the close bond between Princess Catherine and her former aide. 

“Natasha was the behind the scenes force who helped shape Kate’s image into something regal yet approachable, and Meghan knew it,” the source said.

Since leaving the palace, Archer has made her Instagram account public and unfollowed both Meghan and her brand. 

Yet The Duchess appears undeterred. Reports suggest she has already extended a lucrative offer to Archer, enticing her with a chance to work in Montecito, collaborate closely with Meghan, and earn double the usual fee. 

A Hollywood insider told Page Six, “Meghan is laser focused on her brand. She recognises Natasha's value and is prepared to spend big to secure her.”
