Prince William vows to bring 'change' after taking over King Charles crown
Prince William makes big statement about monarchy in latest television appearance
Prince William made a bold statement about bringing change to the monarchy during his headline-making television appearance.
The Prince of Wales opened up about his vision once he ascends the throne while conversing at Eugene Levy's Apple TV+ series The Reluctant Traveler.
The host asked, "You will one day be King of England. Do you think about that at all?"
In response, William said that he does not think about this fact on every single morning because to him, "being authentic and being myself and being genuine" is what drives him.
He revealed that he takes his roles and responsibilities seriously, whatever role he plays as a royal.
Elsewhere in the interview, William also confirmed his different perspective on the future of the monarchy.
He revealed, "I think it’s safe to say that change is on my agenda. Change for good. And I embrace that and I enjoy that change — I don’t fear it."
Bringing the needed change is what "excites" William. "Not overly radical change, but changes that I think need to happen," he further stated.
It is important to mention that there are reports that the Palace's officials have been preparing William for his future role, which he will begin sooner than later, especially amid King Charles' cancer treatment.
