Selena Gomez, Benny Blanco receive unexpected gift from animal welfare org
Benny Blanco and Selena Gomez surprised by special package days ahead of wedding
Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are ready to celebrate their big day this weekend and they have already received an early wedding gift.
The animal welfare organisation, PETA, sent a thoughtfully curated package of vegan food items based on the couple’s favourite luxurious dish.
The 37-year-old music producer has referred to chips and caviar combo as one of his favourite foods to indulge in, and PETA combined it with a vegan twist and sent over a basket filled with Lay’s, a recipe for dairy-free crème fraiche, chives, as well as a plant-based caviar alternative from Cavi-art, as per TMZ.
The organisation also included a sweet letter in their package which referenced Gomez’s dislike for caviar as it is normally consumed, joking that the vegan version might inspire her to sing her song, I Can’t Get Enough.
Speaking to the outlet, the Senior VP Lisa Lange at PETA said, "Anything and everything can be made vegan these days, and this animal-friendly twist on Benny's favourite combo will help make sure there's no murders in the building when he and Selena take the plunge."
The fiancés, who got engaged in December 2024, are set to say “I do” this weekend at a secret venue in Montecito.
