Prince William joins Princess Kate for brother-in-law's birthday bash: Report
The Prince and Princess of Wales reportedly attended Pippa Middleton's husband's 50th birthday party
Prince William accompanied his wife Princess Kate for her brother-in-law’s wild birthday bash, according to reports.
The Daily Mail reported that the Prince and Princess of Wales joined the guest list for James Matthews’ extravagant 50th birthday bash last Saturday at the Berkshire estate he shares with Pippa Middleton.
The party, which reportedly began in the afternoon and stretched into the early hours, was described as “racy” — a cheeky nod to Matthews’ career as a professional racing driver.
The soirée was anything but low-key. Guests, including retired racer Christian Horner and his wife Geri Halliwell, as well as Matthews’ brother Spencer and Vogue Williams, were treated to an elaborate Supermarine Spitfire fighter plane flyover.
But the dramatic display combined with music thumping until 1:30 a.m. didn’t sit well with locals.
“It’s common courtesy and respect,” one neighbor told the Daily Mail. “There are a lot of very nice people who have a lot of money, but this is about entitlement… They could easily have had a silent disco.”
Another resident grumbled about “people with money,” suggesting they weren’t surprised by the disturbance.
