Prince William has been left livid over the events of the past couple of weeks as the York family deliver blow after blow to the royals.

The royals were only beginning to cope with the reputational damage caused by Prince Andrew and his association with financier Jeffrey Epstein, when Sarah Ferguson found herself in the middle of a new crisis.

It was revealed over the weekend that Fergie had issued a grovelling apology to her ‘steadfast’ and ‘supreme friend’ Epstein for publicly shunning him in a 2011 interview.

Just weeks after expressing that Epstein was “rightly jailed”, Fergie told the financier that she only did it to save her career.

Prince William had reportedly been pressuring his father to cut ties with the Duke and Duchess of York for their constant humiliation to the family. A clash between the two had been simmering.

The differences between the King and his heir have grown as the monarch has decided to not completely cut off Fergie and Andrew.

Seven charities have publicly severed their partnerships with the Duchess of York within 24 hours, with others still reviewing their positions. However, the King is undeterred in his stance.

William, on the other hand, wants his disgraced uncle and aunty gone, sources close to the Prince revealed.

“William feels even more strongly than the King that Andrew and Fergie are an embarrassment and will be urging his father to act,” the source claimed to Daily Mail.

“The optics of that pair of chancers guffawing away [at events] look terrible.”

The monarch will likely remove them from public-facing official events. Moreover, the eviction of the Yorks from the Royal Lodge also appeals as a plausible action but Charles will not cut them off.

An insider previously had said that the Prince of Wales believes that Charles is “weak” and planned to take matters into his own hands when the time came.
