King Charles has trusted his beloved daughter-in-law Kate Middleton for crucial and sensitive tasks during his reign.

After the monarch’s much-awaited meeting with estranged son Prince Harry on Wednesday, the Princess of Wales was assigned on an important task for the next major reunion for Charles.

It was announced earlier this year that in an unprecedented move, the royal family will be hosting a second State Visit for US President Donald Trump – a move pushed by the UK government despite the reservations of King Charles.

However, there was another big change in the visit as Princess Kate was given a big role in the visit. Trump and the First Lady were due to arrive in the UK on 17 September before departing on 19 September. Now, due to a busy schedule for the couple, they will instead arrive on 16 September.

The couple won’t take part in any public engagements on Tuesday night, but will spend the night in Windsor Castle. However, they will be treated to all of the pomp and circumstance of a state banquet on Wednesday evening.

Kate will have the duty to host Melania Trump for a special joint appearance at Windsor Castle’s Frogmore Gardens to highlight scouting next week. It is expected to underscore a broader diplomatic effort by the United Kingdom to cultivate close ties with the Trump administration.

Trump previously came to the UK in 2019 for a state visit when Queen Elizabeth was still the monarch. At the time, Charles hosted the US President for tea. Now, as King, Charles will be reuniting with him once again
