Kendall Jenner migh have been drawn to close pal Gigi Hadid's ex Zayn Malik’s quiet retreat.
In a recent interview, Kendall, who has grown up in the public eye after making her reality TV debut at just 11 years old on her family’s show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, shared she want to "stop everything" and want to lead a "simple life."
"I love my space in LA, but I also really love the simple life. I like getting up every morning and throwing on a bathing suit or sweatpants and no makeup and just being free with my day," she told Vogue Magazine in an interview on Monday alongside fellow catwalk star Gigi, 30.
As Kendall, who made her onscreen debut back in 2007, is reportedly building a home out West, away from Los Angeles, according to People, it seems she may be taking some lifestyle inspiration from Gigi’s former love interest, Zayn, who now lives a quieter, more private life, reportedly in rural Pennsylvania.
“I love to go to the horse show dressed just like everybody else and have my helmet on and my sunglasses and my uniform, and I can compete under a completely different name,” the one of the world’s highest-paid models, revealed her minimal future aspirations after spending most of her life in the spotlight.
Kendall knows Zayn, 32, through her close friendship with Gigi, who shares and co-parents her four-year-old daughter Khai Malik with the former One Direction singer.
It’s possible that the Kardashians star has been inspired by the way Dusk Till Dawn hitmaker has chosen to live his life, stepping away from the spotlight after reaching global fame and success, and leaving the British boy band at its peak.
Following his departure from 1D in 2015, Zayn released several solo hits and successful albums, but gradually faded from the public eye following the birth of his daughter and due to his well known struggles with social anxiety.
He’s kept a low profile for years. However, more recently, for the sake of his daughter, he has slowly begun to re-emerge into the spotlight.
