Princess Kate reveals Prince William's rule she 'learned the hard way'
The Princess of Wales teases her husband, the future king, about his particularly 'fussy' trait
Prince William has one no-compromise rule that Princess Kate had to learn the hard way.
On Monday, September 8, the Prince and Princess of Wales visited the National Federation of Women’s Institutes in London to mark the third anniversary of Queen Elizabeth’s passing. The late monarch had been a devoted WI member for 80 years, serving as president from 2003 until her death.
While chatting with members over baked goods, William, 43, revealed his non-negotiable when it comes to brownies.
“I know my brownies,” the future king said in a video shared online, before adding his golden rule: “Never put nuts in a brownie.”
Kate, also 43, laughed as she teased her husband, telling the group, “William is very fussy about it.”
She then admitted, “I had to learn the hard way,” sparking laughter from those around the table.
The royal couple also swapped family stories during the visit.
William shared that his youngest son, Prince Louis, 7, may look angelic in public but is known for stirring up mischief at home.
“He likes to wind his brother and sister up,” William joked, adding that Prince George, 12, only appears to be the sensible one.
