Sarah Ferguson makes bold statement as Harry arrives in Windsor
Ferguson says: 'To stay so composed under that level of pressure on home soil was truly inspiring and shows such mental strength'
Sarah Ferguson left many guessing with her latest message, praising the brilliance of a star's unmatched victory, hours after Prince Harry visited Queen Elizabeth II's grave to pay tribute on the third anniversary of her death.
The Duchess of Duke turned to her Instagram Stories to share the photo of Rory McIlroy celebrating the moment as the athlete claimed his second title at the Irish Open with a thrilling playoff victory against Sweden’s Joakim Lagergren.
Prince Andrew's ex-wife, popularly known as Fergie, wrote a meaningful message along with the photo
She wrote: "To stay so composed under that level of pressure on home soil, and to then deliver that brilliant pull to secure victory, was truly inspiring and shows such mental strength."
She concluded: "Another moment of brilliance in your illustrious career."
Ferguson's message was surely meant for the triumphant athlete, but the intensity of her words led many to think she might also be praising the Duke of Sussex for his bold decision to pay tribute to his late grandmother, despite the challenges and backlash he faced after leaving royal life in 2020.
Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie's mother's post comes after Harry landed in the U.K. on Monday amid speculation about whether he will meet with his father, King Charles III, for the first time in 19 months.
British media suggest that the Harry's trip to London provides an opening for a long-overdue rapprochement between Charles, 76, and his estranged son.
Harry kicked off the tour wisely as he visited the late monarch’s grave in Windsor to offer his respects and lay flowers.
