Paul Mescal shares exciting detail about upcoming 'The Beatles' biopic
'The Beatles' biopic to star Paul Mescal, Barry Keoghan, Joseph Quinn, and Harris Dickinson
Gladiator II star Paul Mescal has unveiled a key element from the upcoming The Beatles biopic.
Sam Mendes has already started working on the much-awaited project consisting of four films based on the globally acclaimed English rock band.
Each film will focus on a different member of the band including Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr and John Lennon.
The upcoming films will feature Mescal as McCartney, Barry Keoghan as Starr, Harris Dickinson as Lennon and Joseph Quinn as Harrison.
In a recent interview with IndieWire, the 29-year-old Irish actor spilled major beans about his role.
During the chat, Paul was asked if he would be doing his own singing for the Sam’s directed movie. To which he replied, “Yeah, yeah absolutely yeah.”
Meanwhile, director Mendes was also asked if he had met Paul for the preparation of the role.
He responded, “I have, yeah. He’s an extraordinary man, like to spend any time – it’s a crazy sentence to say that I’ve spent time with that man, let alone play him.”
The Beatles movies are expected to release in 2028.
