Parking lot punch knocks out John Cena on SmackDown: Here's how it all unfolded
Paul and Cena will, go head-to-head at Clash in Paris next Sunday
When John Cena arrived in Dublin on August 22, he would have never imagined that a knockout punch in the parking lot would turn the tables on him in the SmackDown fight against Paul Logan.
With just limited appearances to his name, John Cena made his way to the ring, saluting the fans.
However, Logan Paul interrupted his moment, who was drowned in a sea of boos, and made his way to the ring.
Maverick suggested a game of imposter, but The Goat had already had enough. Cutting him off, The Goat expressed how Maverick’s antics were getting on his nerves and mentioned there was more to Paul’s story that needed to be shared.
The Prototype star criticized The Maverick star for disrespecting the fans who had accepted him, while constantly promoting his PRIME drink and using WWE for self-promotion.
Knockout blow in the parking lot turns tables on Cena
Earlier this week on Friday Night SmackDown, John Cena got the better of Logan Paul, which led to Drew Mclntyre approaching Paul backstage and making it clear that he needed to make a statement, whatever it takes.
Mclntyre demanded action from Paul regarding his SmackDown situation tonight. Paul accepted the challenge, while Nick Aldis got an unexpected greeting from Logan Paul, a knockout punch in the parking lot, just as he was about to share Brock Lensar news with John Cena.
John Cena arrived in Dublin, Ireland for the final time on August 22 and ensured that he gave the WWE crowd something to talk about.
Logan Paul made his way out to the ring and attempted to fire shots at Cena about his “Cohabitation agreement” with Nikki Bella.
Cena shot back, making it clear he had zero interest in signing Paul to a contract.
He cited his awareness of Paul’s ongoing legal troubles, which he’d been following through the news, as the reason for his reluctance.
Their words came to an end when Cena delivered an Attitude Adjustment (AA) to the YouTube Megastar, which appeared to finally silence him.
Clash in Paris: Higher stakes for Cena
Paul and Cena will go head-to-head at Clash in Paris next Sunday after the match was announced last week. With just one week away from Clash in Paris, WWE has started its tour for the upcoming premium live event.
