Blake Lively casting in ‘The Survival List’ blasted
Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni locked horns over harassment, toxic workplace allegations
Blake Lively is getting the heat over being cast in an upcoming movie The Survival List.
The news broke that the 37-year-old is set to produce as well as star in the Lionsgate action rom-com.
Right after that it caused uproar on social media with some even urging other people to boycott the project being talked about.
The comments section of the Instagram post by Deadline announcing the decision got flooded with haters of the Another Simple Favour star.
One social media user wrote, “Good luck to the director dealing with her drama.”
The second netizen commented, “I thought ‘the survival list’ was the IMDBs of other actors she’s been in movies with.”
“This movie is not getting Taylor’s music,” another internet user wrote referring to Swift's song My Tears Ricochet which was used in It Ends With Us.
Only a few comments were in favor of Ryan Reynolds’ wife with one Instagram user supporting the star writing, “You go girl!! You have a lot of fans and believers! And anyone else who wants to come after me you can just take a hike because I have a right to like her and believe her as much as you have the right to dislike her and not believe her.”
For the unversed, the new project is her first since she launched lawsuit against Justin Baldoni in December 2024 accusing him of sexual harassment and creating toxic workplace environment.
