Princess Kate must have raised eyebrows with her unexpected decision about 'public reconciliation' between King Charles and Prince Harry.

For the unversed, the monarch and Duke of Sussex's aides were photographed while conducting a meeting in London, which was called a first major step towards a future reunion.

However, there are claims that the Princess of Wales shocked the King as she stepped back from his mission of rebuilding bridges with his son in his lifetime.

Closer Magazine reported that the future Queen is still hurt from the public attacks by the Sussexes on the Oprah Winfrey interview and the bombshell Netflix documentary.

"Meghan creates another level of pain for Kate, and that’s something she feels can never be mended. For her, it’s done and dusted," the source revealed.

In extremely serious circumstances, Kate Middleton might share a room with the Duchess of Sussex, but she is not ready for a public reconciliation.

An insider mentioned that Catherine, who has huge respect for her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana, would not be "willing to stand next to Harry" forcefully, even if he is working on a project representing his mother.

On the other hand, King Charles showed his desire to talk to Harry. The source said, "...he wants this to be a one-on-one meeting with no distractions..."

Notably, Princess Kate and the monarch are on one page when it comes to Meghan's involvement in the reunion process.
