Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet have sparked breakup rumours just a couple of days ahead of her 28th birthday.

The couple, who have been romantically linked since early 2023, haven't been seen together publicly for over a month.

In addition the Khy founder also appeared to be fueling the swirling rumours with her recent special media activity.

Taking to her Instagram Stories on Friday, August 8, the Kardashians star revealed she is listening to breakup songs on repeat.

First she posted a screenshot of Jeff Buckley's song Lover, You Should've Come Over. The chorus expresses feelings of longing for an absent lover, possibly after a breakup, "Lover, you should've come over / Cause it's not too late."

Next up British singer–songwriter Labi Siffre's 1972 single Crying Laughing Loving Lying was on her playlist.

The couple’s fans grew visibly concerned, with one asking, "Have Timothée and Kylie broken up????" Another wrote on X, "Is she confirming her breakup with Timmy?"

However, one fan chimed in to explain the Oscar nominee’s absence, writing, "Isn’t he filming Dune right now? Might explain his absence and none of our business."

For the unversed, this year marked significant relationship developments for Kylie, who will turn 28 on August 10, and A Complete Unknown star as they made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 70th David di Donatello Awards in Rome in May 2025 and Kylie followed Timothee, 29, on Instagram in July.

While their relationship appeared to be serious, with a source telling People they are "practically living together," wedding rumours began to gain traction.

Life & Style suggested marriage could be in the cards, with sources claiming Kylie, who shares two kids with ex Travis Scott, considering the possibility of settling down with the American-French actor "soon."

However, a more recent report from mid-2025 suggests that marriage prospects remain unclear, as some members of Timothee's family are reportedly skeptical of the match, citing a perceived cultural gap.
