Zooey Deschanel, Jonathan Scott fans in for disappointment

Zooey Deschanel and Jonathan Scott have cleared the air regarding their wedding plans.

The Yes Man actress and co-host of the popular HGTV show, Property Brothers got engaged around two years ago in August in Scotland during a holiday trip.

The couple who began dating in 2019 haven’t begun to plan for their big day.

“We've just been having so much fun traveling with the kids and filming this show and stuff,” Jonathan shared in an interview with People published August 7. “So no, we have not actually made any plans yet.”

Even though there are no concrete plans for the day when Zooey Deschanel will walk down the aisle and the two will say their vows, Scott is clear about what he wants the special day to be like.

“Whatever we do, it has to be meaningful to us and we want to gather our friends and family and have a good time,” the 47-year-old shared with the host.

"We want to keep it very, very intimate.”

It is not only in their recent conversation with the media outlet that he has spilled beans about the wedding plans, even in December 2023 the 47-year-old revealed during interview with E! News that the age they both are at, there is no ‘energy or time for the BS anymore’.

"And so, we're not taking any pressure from anybody. Nobody's gonna tell us what our guest list is gonna look like. We're just gonna do things the way we want to do things because it's about each other."

Deschanel also keeps the same view as held by her fiancée.

For the unversed, Deschanel shares daughter Elsie (10) and son Charlie (8) with ex-husband Jacob Pechenik.
