Princess Kate's nephew wins praise for outdoor 'confident' moments
Expert praises James Middleton, Alizee for raising confident toddler
Princess Kate's nephew wins heart for his confident outdoor moments.
James Middleton and Alizee's young son Inigo Gabriel will celebrate his second birthday on September 21-a milestone that could bring big changes for the couple.
Parenting author and retired midwife Rachel Fitz-Desorgher has cautioned that Inigo's transition into 'toddlerhood' may shake up the family dynamic.
She explained that his stage is crucial period in a child's development-socially, physically, and emotionally and warned that the infamous 'terrible twos' are often 'notoriously' challenging for parents.'
However, Fitz-Desorgher told Hello! Magazine she believes James and Alizee are more than prepared for the challenges ahead, based on what they have revealed about their parenting style.
She pointed to a recent glimpse into their family life shared by James on Instagram. In the video, filmed by the royal relative himself, little Inigo enjoyed a woodland adventure with his mother.
In one clip, the toddler was seen scrambling up a rocky slope while Alizee looked on proudly.
'Even when the climb is tricky for such a young tot, his mum doesn't interfere or help in any way but simply and confidently walks ahead, allowing her son to find his own solutions,' Fitz-Desorgher observed.
In another light hearted moment, Inigo playfully hit his mother's backpack with a stick and tried-unsuccessfully-to push her into a stream.
To the expert, these moments reflected James and Alizee's success in nurturing their son's growing independence and confidence.
