Christopher Briney faces another love triangle in new campaign
Christopher Briney sparks online buzz with his appearance in Panera commercial
Christopher Briney is making waves on the internet with his latest appearance in a new Panera commercial.
The 27-year-old actor, known for his portrayal of Conrad Fisher in the 2022 series The Summer I Turned Pretty, stars in the bakery chain’s latest campaign.
On Thursday, August 7, the Mean Girls star appeared in a one-minute-long Panera ad shared on YouTube.
In the commercial, Briney says, “I don’t know what to do. I’m torn between two things. I could listen to my gut and do what I know is right. Or I could follow my heart and let the chips fall where they may.”
Keeping his signature serious expression, the Dalíland actor continues dramatically, “But it’s hard, you know? Knowing what you should do and what you want to do are very different things. I just wish it didn’t have to be like this.”
In the video, Briney is shown struggling to decide whether to order a sandwich or a salad.
To help him out, a Panera employee steps in and explains the "You Pick Two" deal, saying, “You know you can have both.”
Notably, Panera’s "You Pick Two" deal allows customers to order two half portions of entrées.
At the end of the commercial, the American star concludes, “I wish life was like Panera.”
On the professional front, Briney reprised his iconic role as Conrad Fisher in the recently released Season 3 of the 2022 romantic series The Summer I Turned Pretty.
The third installment premiered on Wednesday, July 16, and is set to complete its 11-episode run on September 17.
