Kelly Osbourne pays tribute to dad Ozzy in new documentary
Kelly Osbourne opens up about late father Ozzy Osbourne's health struggles
Kelly Osbourne recently made headlines with a heartfelt revelation in a new BBC documentary, filmed shortly before Ozzy Osbourne’s death.
The 40-year-old, second child of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, reflected on her late father’s declining health.
In the upcoming documentary Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home, Kelly shares, “Iron man wasn’t really made of iron.”
The documentary chronicles the final chapter of the Crazy Train singer’s life, including his farewell performance in Birmingham on Saturday, July 5.
Reflecting on the project, BBC Head of Commissioning Clare Sillery said, “We are honoured to have had the opportunity to film with Ozzy and his family. The film captures an intimate glimpse into his journey as they prepare to return to the UK. It features family moments, humour, reflection, and shows the enduring spirit that made Ozzy a global icon. We hope it brings comfort and joy to Ozzy’s fans and viewers as they remember and celebrate his extraordinary life.”
This comes shortly after the official cause of death for the Paranoid hitmaker was revealed.
According to The New York Times, the Prince of Darkness died from acute myocardial infarction and out of hospital cardiac arrest, as stated on his death certificate.
Notably, the rock icon tragically passed away on Tuesday, July 22, at the age of 76.
For the unversed, the short film is set to air on BBC on Monday, August 18.
