Paige DeSorbo leaves Summer House: REAL reason revealed

Paige DeSorbo shared the actual reason she made the decision to quit the Bravo series, Summer House.

After the ninth season’s shooting last year, the 32-year-old no longer wants to return to the show.

DeSorbo talked to the host Larry Crespo during her appearance on podcast, Bravo By Gays, Aug 4.

"I'd like to say that I made this decision over months and months of thinking," DeSorbo told the host. "I definitely felt different leaving last summer. There was something where I had this gut feeling where I was just like, 'This is probably the last time I'll ever leave this house.'"

"When it came time to start thinking about the summer, I really just had a moment where I was like, 'Wait a minute, I can't go film a TV show,'" she added. "'Like, I'll literally die.'"

DeSorbo also shared with her listeners that her ‘busy’ schedule involving her other professional commitments made her understand that she can’t possibly juggle her work.

She stated, "This past spring, I was like, 'I really need time off. I don't physically think I could film Summer House.'"

DeSorbo could see that despite having an opportunity to promote her own brand’s product on the show, she knew she wouldn’t be able to make it.

"You would think, like, Daphne was coming out, I'd want to promote it on the show," she continued, "and that was always my plan. Come out with something and be able to promote it on the show. But just the way I felt personally, it overrode anything professionally with Daphne."

Moreover, she revealed that she isn’t the same girl she used to be. She doesn’t ‘want to go out on a Friday and Saturday night’ as she thinks it’s not her vibe anymore.’

She also stepped aside so that a younger girl may ‘have the same opportunity’ she had when she was 25.
