Brittany Cartwright drops bombshell claims against ex Jax Taylor
Brittany Cartwright recalls painful details about conflicts with Jax Taylor
Brittany Cartwright has discussed ex-husband Jax Taylor’s anger outbursts and cited it as one of the major reasons she filed for divorce, but she unveiled one significant event which convinced her to end their relationship.
The 36-year-old reality star opened up about feeling like she had lost her spark when Taylor began to treat her poorly, on the reunion episodes of The Valley, on Tuesday, July 29.
Cartwright claimed that her ex-husband actually made her "lose my sparkle," adding, “I lost a lot of my personality being with you. And everybody knows it."
Taylor responded, “I’m not arguing with you. Do you see me arguing with you?”
As the former partners continued to argue, Cartwright shed light on the fact that Taylor had body-shammed her even when she had just given birth to their newborn son, Cruz, now, 4.
“I mean, I had your son, and then you body-shamed me for stretch marks,” Cartwright said.
“I didn’t body-shame you,” Taylor interrupted. “I never said that.”
“Yes, you did,” Cartwright said, garnering the support of her castmates. “I had your child. Your beautiful child.”
Although Taylor began to defend himself and shout at his castmates, they claimed that they’d seen the text he’d sent his then-wife.
“Literally called me a tree trunk because I had stretch marks,” Cartwright recalled.
Under the pressure to apologise by his castmates, Taylor ultimately said, “I am very sorry about all of this."
