Princess Kate released a key statement after an unexpected criticism aimed at Prince William and Princess Charlotte's headline-making sighting at the Women's Euro 2025 final.

The future Queen took a break from the Waleses' family holiday to talk about her inspiration behind the new 'Makers and Creators' exhibition, on which she worked with V&A East Storehouse.

The new collection is going on display from today, Wednesday, in which the Princess of Wales has also taken part.

According to Hello! Magazine, items chosen for the exhibition by Kate Middleton include a Victorian Morris & Co furnishing screen designed by John Henry Dearle, who was an assistant to William Morris.

The exhibition has a costume designed by Oliver Messel, one of Britain's prominent stage designers. This costume, worn by Diana Vere in the Royal Ballet's 1960 production of "The Sleeping Beauty," represents the character of the Fairy of the Woodland Glade.

The mother-of-two also shared a special message, which will also be displayed with the exhibition.

She wrote, "Objects can tell a story. A collection of objects can create a narrative, both about our past and as inspiration for the future."

"This display celebrates our past makers and creators and illustrates how much historic objects can influence fashion, design, film, art and creativity today."

"Individual, unique objects can come together to create a collective whole that helps us to explore our social and cultural experiences and the role we play in the wider tapestry of life."

It is important to note that Princess Catherine's message came after some fans expressed their dismay over William's decision to bring Charlotte to England's Lionesses and Spain final.

Netizens questioned the Princess of Wales' seriousness towards women's football due to his eldest son, Prince George's, absence from the match.
