Princess Beatrice inspired by Prince William's romantic gesture
Princess Beatrice echoes Prince William's anniversary style
Princess Beatrice and her cousin Prince William have shared a close bond since childhood, growing up side by side within the royal family.
With William destined to be King, it's no surprise that Beatrice often looks to him as a role model.
The Prince of Wales not only exemplifies modern royalty but also sets a standard for how younger royals approach their personal lives. Like William, Beatrice also married a non-royal, following in her cousin's footsteps in more ways than one.
Interestingly, Beatrice recently mirrored William and Princess Kate's approach to celebrating their wedding anniversary.
Earlier this year, the royal couple marked their 14th anniversary with a private trip to the Isle of Mull in Scotland. They reportedly stayed in a self-catering cottage and shared a sweet photo on Instagram, writing: 'Wonderful to be back on the Isle of Mull. Thank you to everyone for such a warm welcome.'
Similarly, on Thursday, Princess Beatrice's husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, commemorated their fifth wedding anniversary with a heartfelt post and a scenic photo from a beach in Scotland.
In his tribute, he wrote:'Happy 5th Anniversary to my incredible partner, the most beautiful and amazing wife. I cherish every moment we've spent together and am deeply grateful for our journey. Here's to countless more years filled with laughter and tons of love!'
Although Edoardo did not close the exact location, the royal couple's choice of Scotland as their romantic escape echoed William and Kate's recent tradition.
