Coldplay kiss cam sparks uproar after CEO caught on big screen
A light-hearted moment at a Coldplay concert turned into a public mess for a software company after their top bosses were caught on the kiss cam.
During the band’s performance at Gillette Stadium in Boston, camera zoomed in on Astronomer’s CEO Andy Byron and Head of HR Kristin Cabot.
The two lovebirds were seen sitting together when their reaction shown on the big screen drew attention.
Chris Martin, band’s lead singer, noticed the awkwardness and joked to the crowd, saying either they were having an affair or they were just very shy.
The viral clip was soon posted online and spread like wildfire and over seventeen million people watched the video on TikTok. However, Many quickly recognised the faces from the company.
Not long after, LinkedIn post from Astronomer celebrating Cabot’s promotion disappeared from the platform. The update have been titled An Exciting Day, but the link now leads to a message that says the post cannot be displayed.
People also spotted that comments were turned off across all of Astronomer’s posts and the company hasn't responded to any media outlets so far.
