Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi marks five years of marriage with Princess Beatrice in a loving tribute.
Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson's daughter, Princess Beatrice, married the love of her life, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, on 17 July 2020 in a private ceremony at Windsor.
Taking to Instagram, Edoardo wrote: 'Happy 5th Anniversary to my incredible partner, the most beautiful and amazing wife. I cherish every moment we've spent together and am deeply grateful for our journey. Here's to countless more years filled with laughter and tons of love.'
Initially, the couple's marriage was kept under wraps until Buckingham Palace released an official announcement the following day.
Their big day took place during the pandemic lockdown and was a small, intimate celebration held with the Queen's permission.
The low-key event was hosted at the Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, with only the couple's parents and siblings in attendance.
At that time, the Palace stated they had 'decided to hold a small private ceremony with their parents and siblings following the postponement of their wedding in May.'
In line with government's guidelines, only the couple's closest relatives were invited.
Among the select guests were the late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip who witnessed their granddaughter exchange vows.
Prince Andrew walked his daughter down the aisle, while Edoardo's young son Wolfie took on the dual role of both best man and pageboy.
Princess Beatrice looked stunning in a vintage Norman Hartnell gown, borrowed from the late Queen's collection- a sentimental nod to her royal heritage.
