Meghan Markle receives warning about future of As Ever
The Duchess of Sussex might 'damage' her brand As Ever, here's why
Meghan Markle might leave her fans frustrated with her continuous decisions revolving around her lifestyle brand, As Ever.
For the unversed, on April 2, 2025, the Duchess of Sussex launched the first batch of products on her website and within an hour, the items sold out.
In June, Meghan announced that she had restocked As Ever's pantry, but the story repeated, and the brand's shelves got empty.
Ever since the former Suits actress' recent wine launch upset consumers due to limited stock.
Discussing Meghan's strategy, PR expert Edward Coram-James claimed that it could let down her target audience.
As per Express, he said, "The jam selling out does show there’s genuine enthusiasm for Meghan’s products."
"When handled well, limited stock can create buzz for future releases. But for that to work, the messaging needs to be crystal clear from the start.
“Customers have to know it’s a small-batch, limited-edition item. Otherwise, they’ll feel frustrated and let down. Repeated supply problems risk damaging the brand’s reputation over time," James added.
Since the beginning of 2025, Meghan Markle has been introduced to back-to-back projects in a major career comeback. From her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, to As Ever, she is making headlines.
