Prince Andrew investigation takes shocking turn as major announcement looms
Prince Andrew receives huge update as probe into high-profile case nears verdict
Prince Andrew seemingly dodged a major bullet as a crucial announcement was set to seal his fate with the public.
The Duke of York, who had been embroiled under a slew of scandals, was being investigated for some harrowing crimes, which also included high-profile figures.
According to The Mirror, the FBI has “formally ended its investigation” which had been digging into the links between King Charles’s ‘disgraced’ brother and financier Jeffery Epstein.
While an official announcement is yet to be made, in a new two-page memo obtained by the outlet stated that the investigators “did not uncover evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties”.
Andrew was stripped off of his royal titles and patronages after one of his alleged sexual assault victims, Virginia Giuffre, made shocking claims against him. The royal has since been ousted from representing the royal family in public.
Several claims were made that Epstein kept a “client list” which had names of powerful men, which included Andrew.
The memo dismissed claims that such a list existed, adding that “perpetuating unfounded theories about Epstein serves neither justice nor the victims.” It maintains that the government’s highest priorities remain “combatting child exploitation and bringing justice to victims.”
While it’s hard for Andrew to recover from his tarnished reputation over the years, it still allows him to breathe easy amid his contentious ties with the King.
It is possible that Andrew may feel bold enough to recover his status in the royal family, despite the backlash from the public.
