Prince William concerned over Harry's life-changing decision
Royal family gave key advice to Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex did not pay heed
Prince William expressed serious concerns over Prince Harry's life-changing decision, which went unheard by the Duke of Sussex.
King Charles' youngest son was "so desperate" to marry Meghan Markle that he "ignored" his family's advice, claimed a renowned royal commentator.
In a new episode of Palace Confidential, Rebecca English claimed that the senior royal figures, including the Prince of Wales, have serious "reservations" about Harry's rushed decision to marry the former Suits actress.
She revealed, "I know from my own sources that there were strong reservations, that they felt, all of the family felt that Harry was rushing into this too quickly..."
"...as we now know, William memorably said to him, 'Maybe you just need to take a little bit of time to get to know this woman and plan your future more,'" the royal author shared.
Rebecca added, "But he was so desperate to settle down and start a family, and he, as a person, fell in love very quickly, that he just didn't want to do that."
For the unversed, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot in 2018 in St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.
The couple stepped down from their senior royal roles in 2020, and since then, their estrangement from the royals continues to grow due to their controversial statements. Prince William expressed serious concerns over Prince Harry's life-changing decision, which went unheard by the Duke of Sussex.
