Meghan Markle issues delightful life update on fourth of July
Meghan Markle revealed in a new post that Archie and Lilibet are continuing a family tradition set by their father, Prince Harry.
On July 4, the Duchess of Sussex released photos on her official Instagram account, recalling her second date with the love of her life.
The first picture showcased a plate full of cupcakes, probably decorated by the Sussexes' children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to celebrate their papa and mama's special day.
Meghan also shared a throwback photo of her and Harry from their second date night.
Notably, the third image featured a big cupcake on which the 4th of July was written.
The mother-of-two wrote, "Our second date was the 4th of July 2016, and H brought me cupcakes to celebrate. Now, all these years later, our two children are in on the tradition."
"Happy Independence Day! May your day be as sweet as these cupcakes."
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot on May 19, 2018, in St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.
The couple, who stepped down from their senior royal roles in 2020, now reside in California with their two kids.
