Duchess Sophie pays respect to Princess Kate cancer journey in new video
Royal family issues update on Duchess Sophie after Kate Middleton health confession
Duchess Sophie paid a heartfelt tribute to Princess Kate after the future Queen opened up about her health struggles.
On July 4, a video of the beaming Duchess of Edinburgh was released on the official page of the royal family from her visit to the RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival and Festival of Roses.
First, the mother-of-two toured some of the gardens, floral displays and allotments on show.
Notably, Sophie got a chance to see "The King’s Rose" and "Catherine’s Rose" at the Festival of Roses during her engagement.
It is important to note that the Royal Horticultural Society's new Rose, "Catherine’s Rose", was introduced in honour of the Princess of Wales after she bravely fought from cancer.
At the time, Kensington Palace revealed that the "proceeds from this rose will support The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, helping patients across the country live well with, and beyond, cancer."
Moreover, Duchess Sophie "spent time with local school children visiting the Festival to learn about environmental practices and the joy of horticulture, alongside British television icons, The Wombles."
