King Charles, as since his ascension to the throne, has remained razor-focussed on an important matter, which he has been planning for all his life.
The monarch, who has received praise for his work on environmentalism, has been working on an important transition despite the fact that he is undergoing weekly cancer treatments since the past year.
Charles was dubbed as the “most influential environmentalist” by environmentalist Tony Juniper. He revealed during the Hello!’s A Right Royal Podcast podcast interview that the King has been speaking to experts about the next big change.
“He's been really building momentum and impact ever since, and he has a very different role in life now,” he said of the King, who has continued to advocate for environmental causes.
“[King Charles] was in a meeting yesterday in Lancaster House with a group of leaders from finance and business, looking at how we can fund the transition,” he shared.
Tony said that the monarch discussed “how we align finance behind these big challenges, and he's right there in the crowd, speaking to everybody, giving his enthusiasm and backing, and so really still showing influence and leadership despite the constraints of his new role.”
The expert asserted that while Charles has received pushback on his work, which he been doing since before the early 1970s. Despite that, Charles “stuck to his guns”.
