Prince Harry reveals the wisdom he learned from Meghan
Prince Harry’s latest comment sparks speculation of new dig
Prince Harry made a solo appearance in New York City on Friday, where he spoke about a personal mantra that continues to shape his life, a lesson he credits to Meghan Markle.
Speaking at the 2025 NEXUS Global Summit, the Duke of Sussex joined NEXUS co-founder and CEO Rachel Gerrol for a powerful conversation in front of an audience of young philanthropists and impact investors.
During the discussion, he reflected on the importance of authenticity, revealing that the principle of living "by truth" is one that he and Meghan both share.
"My wife said to me very early on in our relationship, If you live your life by truth, it's the most efficient way to live," Harry shared.
“It’s something she’s lived by for a long time, and now I do too.”
“So yes, we will continue to live our life by truth, and we will continue to stand up for what we believe in the difference between right and wrong,” The Duke declared.
He also described Meghan Markle as "the most trolled person in the world," echoing sentiments the couple have previously shared about their struggles with public scrutiny and media attacks.
The comment, along with his emphasis on “truth,” appeared to touch on past grievances aired in their explosive 2022 Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan.
In that series, Harry made a pointed accusation: They were happy to lie to protect my brother. They were never willing to tell the truth to protect us."
More recently, Meghan herself hinted at misinformation surrounding her time as a working royal.
In a candid moment on the Aspire with Emma Grede podcast, she was asked whether she would have done anything differently to change the public narrative.
While she didn’t offer specifics, her tone suggested lingering frustration over how she was portrayed and, as she’s implied before, misunderstood.
