Prince Harry 'Invictus Invite' in tatters as Duke receives sad update

Prince Harry received sad news from Buckingham Palace's former spokesperson amid a report claiming the Duke set to extend the Invictus Games invitation to his father.

For the unversed, the former working royal expressed a strong desire to make amends with the royal family in recent times.

After suffering a major setback in the UK security case, Harry made surprising comments about reconciliation with the royals.

In a fresh update, Daily Mail claimed that the father-of-two plans to invite King Charles and Prince William to Invictus Games Birmingham 2027.

An insider shared, "Invictus hopes the royal family will come along to support the wounded veterans taking part. Harry is hopeful his father will set aside their differences to attend the Invictus Games and support veterans."

However, Dickie Arbiter, a royal commentator, who previously served as Palace's representative, sent a stern message to the Duke of Sussex.

In conversation with The Sun, he said, "There's got to be a lot to happen between now and then. You can't just brush everything under the carpet. There's got to be an apology."

He added, "The king is sort of commander in chief of the armed services, and [The Invictus Games] would be a good fit and a good show for him to appear, but it's a very difficult one,"

"He's been placed in a dilemma as to how to cope with this," Dickie shared.

Speaking of the Invictus invites, no official statement released by Prince Harry's team yet.
