Meghan Markle's latest career move revealed that she lacks 'confidence,' a PR expert claimed.
For the unversed, the Duchess of Sussex's lifestyle brand As Ever recently restocked products on June 20 after the first batch of the items sold out within minutes.
The story repeats this time as well. Meghan, who built up the excitement around restocking the inventory once again left fans disappointed with limited stock.
In a conversation with Newsweek, PR expert Mark Borkowski said, "Nobody wants to be left with a load of stock you can't shift. So it shows to a certain extent a lack of confidence in their own product because if they believed in it, they would go into overproduction or a greater production line."
He added, "It shows they're still unsure about the very thing that would seem to be quite successful."
Mark claimed that Meghan and her team appeared to be surprised by their success.
The expert also raised questions about exactly how many items she was able to sell out.
Another UK-based brand and culture expert, Nick Ede discussed Meghan's alleged strategy of creating hype by selling out products as soon as they launched.
He said, "Obviously they've said they increased the inventory 10 times, but you wonder how large that inventory actually was. You actually want to, as a customer, as a consumer, go onto a website and feel you can buy the product."
