Princess Eugenie was all in support for her cousin, Prince Harry, just a week after he had announced his important visit to the UK.
The York Princess shared close ties with the Duke of Sussex, but reports suggested that the cousins had a falling out amid the growing feud between Harry and his father King Charles.
However, in a subtle move, Eugenie seemed to have dispelled any issues she shares with Harry as she gave a shoutout to her cousin during a candid discussion about her health battle.
Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s younger daughter battled with scoliosis and had a scar from her surgery. During a discussion to mark Scoliosis Awareness Month 2025, Eugenie was asked about showing off her surgery scar on her wedding day in 2018 – taking place just few months after the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Specialist spinal physiotherapist, Emily Hale, revealed that she was inspired by Eugenie to show her scar in her wedding dress, which the 35-year-old royal was excited to learn.
King Charles’s niece shared that scars “tell a story about your life” and it juxtaposed the wedding moment with what Paralympians “do on the world stage” and shouted out Harry’s Invictus Games.
The next Invictus Games are due to be held in Birmingham in July 2027 and the official dates were announced last week.
Back in April, rumours swirled that Harry and Eugenie had a falling out, however, a source told People magazine that nothing as such has happened. The outlet reported that Harry and Eugenie’s “close relationship remains intact.”
In recent week, Eugenie has shown a close connection to her uncle King Charles and her cousin Prince William – who remains firmly estranged from his brother.
However, the Princess seemed to have suggested that there is no bad blood between her and Harry.
