Zara, Mike Tindall have 'special' reason to celebrate today
Born on June 18, 2018, Lena is the couple's second child
Zara and Mike Tindall have a 'special' reason to celebrate today as their youngest daughter, Lena turns seven.
Born on June 18, 2018, Lena is the couple's second child. Zara and Mike decided to keep the young royal out of the public eye during her early years.
However, today she is spending her birthday surrounded by family. The couple has three children. Mia, Lena and Lucas. Lena was born at Stroud Maternity Unit in Gloucestershire, weighing 9lbs 3oz.
It is noteworthy that her full name is Lena Elizabeth Tindall and her middle name pays tribute to her great-grandmother, the late Queen Elizabeth II.
A spokesperson for Zara and Mike said at the time: 'It was just a name they liked.'
The name Lena has Greek origins which means 'illustrious,' temptress,' and 'the bright one.'
As of June 2025, Lena is the 24th in the lie of succession to the British throne. She is Princess Anne's fourth grandchild and was the seventh of Queen Elizabeth's twelve great-grandchildren.
It comes after Zara Tindall took the responsibility for a special task as the royal family gathered on Tuesday to mark the beginning the Royal Ascot on Tuesday.
Zara welcomed her brother's girlfriend Harriet Sperling to the annual horse racing event and even at one moment, she stepped up to help fix Harriet’s hat by placing a gentle hand on its brim.
