Prince William and Kate Middleton, who are the two most popular royals amongst the public, do not seem to receive the same praise from their staff at Kensington Palace.
The Prince and Princess of Wales are said to be facing unexpected challenges due to growing frustration of the people who work for the couple.
The future King and Queen land in new trouble as palace staff are becoming increasingly frustrated with their insistence on doing things their own way.
William and Kate are "under growing pressure to up their workload", according to associate editor of The Telegraph Camilla Tominey.
There are concerns amongst aides that the couple "may be spending too much time with their immediate family instead of supporting the 'Firm'."
Recent reports indicate palace staff are unhappy with William and Kate's attitude change, which might be contributing to the tension.
The royal couple are facing pressure to increase their royal duties, with some critics feeling they're prioritising family time over responsibilities.
The Scottish Express previously reported on the couple's apparent reluctance towards official duties. While it was understandable for the heir to the British throne to step back in 2024 when Princess Catherine was undergoing cancer treatment.
There were also whispers of Kate being dubbed a part-time royal by staff, even before her health scare. It was also noted that William managed to find time for his personal interests, such as travelling to Germany for the Euros and South Africa for his Earthshot Prize.
Princess Kate, 43, has resumed her duties, but she still remains committed to being a hands-on mother to their children Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7.
Camilla went on to suggest that prospects for a reconciliation between Prince William and his brother Prince Harry appear dim, adding that the Duke is "low down his list of priorities".
However, some of William's friends claim he is "no longer as angry as he was," but the current sentiment establishes there is "no way back" for Harry.
