Princess Eugenie makes important statement after Prince William's emotional message
Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson's daughter Eugenie responds to future king William's plea
Princess Eugenie has seemingly responded to Prince William's emotional plea in her latest statement.
Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson's youngest daughter Eugenie sent a subtle nod to future King William as she issued an statement on 'greatest wonder of the world'.
The Princess of York, who's Prince William's cousin, serves as an ambassador for the Blue Marine Foundation which works to protect 30% of oceans by 2030.
The 35-year-old royal turned to her official Instagram account to mark World Oceans Day, posting a photograph showing her at the beach with her two young sons August, four, and Ernest, two.
The post comes hours after the Prince of Wales spoke to global leaders at the Blue Economy and Finance Forum in Monaco on the vital importance of reviving our oceans.
The Palace shared William's video with a statement on Sunday, saying: "Momentum is growing ahead of the UN Ocean Conference. The ocean can be healed and work is already underway."
Eugenie's decision to share this intimate family moment on World Oceans Day underscores her commitment to raising awareness about marine environments.
In the photograph, Princess Eugenie is wearing a swimsuit with crossing back straps and baggy linen shorts and her hair styled in a casual updo.
She held Ernest's hand whilst August played in the waves ahead of them.
"The ocean is the greatest wonder of the world. Celebrating @unworldoceansday today and every day," the princess wrote alongside the image.
Eugenie's passion for marine conservation is reflected in her ambassadorial roles. In May, she became a Global Ambassador for Thirty Six For Coral, an art exhibition and auction supporting coral reef conservation.
